IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover is the simulation of the second world war, but you will be assigned as a jet pilot assigned to destroy your enemy's headquarters. Ubisoft's long-running flight combat sim returns as gamers take to the skies above Great Britain's famed white cliffs in IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover. Set in 1940, players join the Royal Air Force during the height of the German air assault on England, flying throughout the British Isles and extending into Belgium and France. Gamers can get up close and personal with more than 25 authentic aircraft from the era, including the Spitfire, the Hurricane, and the Messerschmitt Bf-109, and each plane offers extensive damage modeling for added realism. A new 3D engine was designed to offer lifelike buildings, environments, and ground vehicles, and multiplayer fans can test their dogfight skills in massive online battles that support up to 128 combatants
